Professional Engineer

David holds a bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering and has extensive experience in development, drainage and stormwater management, utility design and municipal engineering. He served on a similar board with a wastewater utility in southeastern Pennsylvania from 1983-86, and previously owned and operated two professional engineering and surveying firms. He has been a professional engineer in private practice in Southwest Florida since 1990 and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

David, a resident of Bonita Springs since 1990, has served as president of the Bonita Springs Area Housing Development Corporation since 1999 and as president of the Bonita Industrial Park Property Owners Association since 1998. He is a charter member of the Rotary Club of Bonita Springs Noon.

Bob holds a bachelor's degree from Iowa State University. A licensed real estate broker, general contractor and community association manager, he is involved in construction, property management and real estate sales and rentals, overseeing a 30-employee company that manages more than 1,800 units.

Bob is a member and a past director of the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce, member and past director of the Bonita Springs Rotary and a graduate of Leadership Lee County.

Paul holds a bachelor's degree in geology from Denison University in Ohio and a master's degree in geology from the University of Kansas. He served as an oil and gas exploration/development geologist in Louisiana for 12 years, and performed hydrologic studies, site assessments and marketing functions for Lee County environmental firms from 1991 through 1995. He now works in the oil and gas regulatory section of the FDEP.

Paul, who is past president and a board member of the Everglades Geological Society, has lived in Southwest Florida since 1991 and in Bonita Springs since 1995.

Owner - Mathes Realty Appraisal and Mathes Realty, Inc.

John is a certified residential real estate appraiser and licensed real estate broker, and operates a vacation rental enterprise as part of Mathes Realty. He is past president of the Bonita Springs Board of Realtors, which named him 1982 Realtor of the Year, and the Bonita Springs Rotary Club, which honored him as Rotarian of the Year in 1984. John is a graduate of Leadership Bonita and served on the 2004 Lee County Solid Waste Advisory Committee.

He is a member of the Bonita Springs Historical Society and serves on the Bonita Springs Community Council for the First National Bank of Florida.

Bob is a charter member of Bonita Springs Utilities, Inc. He is active in the American Legion, the Loyal Order of Moose and the Imperial River Conservancy. He maintains his pilot's license and is involved in the Naples Pilots Organization.

Community Volunteer

A native of Bonita Springs, Frank has served as president of the Bonita Springs Jaycees and as a director of the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce. He is a commissioner of Bonita Springs Fire and Rescue, and a member of the Cypress Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite of Free Masonry and Araba Temple in Fort Myers.

He retired from his nearly four-decade-long career with Sprint in 2005.

Hank moved to Bonita Springs in 1979, after owning and operating a recreational vehicle manufacturing plant, a K.O.A. campground and a recreational vehicle dealership in Elkhart, Ind.

He is past president of the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce, the Bonita Springs Board of Realtors and Bonita Springs Main Street and was a member of the Bonita Springs Community Redevelopment Agency committee. He was named the 1995 Bonita Springs Citizen of the Year by the chamber of commerce and was honored as 1996 Realtor of the Year.

Hank serves on the boards of the Bonita Springs Y.M.C.A. and the north council of First National Bank of Naples.

Marc, owner of Nova Landscaping & Irrigation from 1984 through 1995, has owned and operated Barefoot Irrigation Service in Bonita Springs since 1996. He has a strong knowledge of the end uses of water resources and their effect on the environment.

Steve holds a Ph.D. in business administration from Purdue University and has 20 years of management experience with a Fortune 500 company. He moved to Southwest Florida in 1995 and, in 2004, helped BSU to create its first strategic business plan. He is a Florida Gulf Coast University Foundation board officer and Bonita Springs Chamber Foundation director, and served on the boards of the Speakers Assembly, Rotary, Rotary Foundation and YMCA, all in Bonita Springs. He is a graduate of Leadership Bonita and was named both Rotarian of the Year and Chamber Director of the Year.
