BUILDING FOR
THE FUTURE
As a member of the board of Bonita Springs
Utilities, Inc., I’m happiest when
our member-customers don’t think about
the utility. I want them to take us for
granted.
BSU works hard to provide service that
is so consistently reliable that there is
never a doubt that the tap will deliver
fresh, pure water – service that is
so dependable that there is never a concern
about the water that is going down the drain.
Achieving and maintaining that solid
level of service is not easy. It takes hard
work, dedication to our member-customers,
innovative thinking and some tough decisions.
The ongoing growth of Bonita Springs, the
impact of that growth on our environment
and water resources, the development of
new – and often costly – technology,
and a new recognition of the importance
of security make the job of running this
utility more complex each year.
Fortunately, those you have elected to
represent you on the board of directors
appreciate the role BSU plays on both a
regional scale and a personal level. Board
members often must make hard decisions,
and they deliberate carefully while considering
the best interests of Bonita Springs, our
ecosystem and each individual member-customer.
The decisions are not always popular, but
they are made for the long-term benefit
of the entire membership.
The nine directors, as a group, have
more than a century of experience on the
board. Just as important, they bring a wealth
of professional experience, a range of expertise
and a diversity of opinion to the table.
Most important, they are willing to volunteer
their time to make sure that you never have
to think about your water and wastewater
service.
